As this is my blog i feel i should showcase some of my own conceptual work.
For my final undergraduate Interior Design project i decided to create a nursery and after-school centre for children suffering from dyslexia and dyspraxia.
I am a strong believer in providing children with a space where there disabilities are not a hindrance, and each aspect of the design enables the child to grow and improve. This is my final outcome.
Main Auditorium, with view of Gross movement room, reception desk and staircase up to first floor. The green padded wall along the staircase gives the children a means of venting their frustration in a safe and manageable way.
View of first floor. Orange box encases Irwin Eye Testing room and Sensory room.
Opposite View of First floor. Including Timber hanging library and walkway.
Long Section.
Isometric view of building.
Short Section.
